Name
Name is required. Its helper text is Only visible inside the app — recipients never see it.
Products
At least one product is required.
Add products — pick individual products from your catalog.
Add from collection — add every product in a Shopify collection at once.
Drag the handle to reorder. The form shows products in this order.
Minimum quantity
Set per product, default 1, at least 1. The recipient cannot go below it.
Maximum quantity
Set per product, off by default, which means no cap. Switch it on to set a number; it must be at least 1 and not lower than the minimum. Otherwise you get Maximum quantity must be greater than or equal to minimum quantity.
Recipients can never order more than Shopify has in stock, whatever you set here.
Form type
Influencer — For influencer gifting campaigns. Asks for Instagram and TikTok handles and can restrict who orders.
Company — For company/brand partnerships. Asks for a company name and website instead.
Changing the type changes which sections below appear.
Influencer settings
This section appears on influencer forms only.
The handle list
One row per person, each with an Instagram and a TikTok handle. Add influencer adds a row; Remove influencer deletes one. The @ prefix is optional and capitalisation does not matter.
A person is let through if either of their handles matches, so you only need the one you actually have.
An empty list means anyone with the link can order. With at least one handle filled in, only those handles get through; everyone else sees You are not authorized to submit this form.
UGC Consent
UGC Consent is off by default. Turning it on reveals the next two options and shows a consent checkbox on the form.
UGC consent text — the wording of that checkbox. Left blank, the form shows I consent to the use of my content.
Require UGC Consent to submit the form — off by default. On, the recipient cannot submit without ticking the box. Off, the box is shown but optional, and whether they ticked it is recorded on the order.
The rules banner
The banner under this section restates the current rules. It says one of:
Only listed influencers can order. Each influencer can place one order.
Only listed influencers can order. Each influencer can place multiple orders.
Anyone can order. Only one order can be placed through this form.
Anyone can place unlimited orders through this form.
The last one is highlighted as a warning, because the link is completely open.
Company settings
This section appears on company forms only.
Require company name — on by default.
Require company URL — off by default. The website field is shown either way, marked (optional) when not required.
Extra text
Extra text has the helper text Optional text displayed on the form page. It is free text shown to the recipient on the details screen. Use it for deadlines, sizing notes, or campaign instructions. It is not translated.
Limits
These live in the sidebar of the form editor. All are off by default unless stated.
Maximum products per order
Switch it on and set a number of at least 1. It caps how many items one recipient can take. The recipient sees the cap on the form and is told You can select up to {count} items if they try to exceed it.
Maximum products value per order
Switch it on and set a whole-number amount in your store currency. It caps the total retail value of the selection, whatever the item count. The message on the form is Total value cannot exceed {value}.
Unique orders
Influencer forms only, and on by default. The sub-label is One order per influencer when the handle list has entries, and Only one order per form when it is empty.
On with a handle list: each handle may order once.
On with an empty list: the whole form accepts exactly one order.
Off: no per-person or per-form cap.
Orders per form
Company forms only, on by default with a value of 1. It caps how many orders the whole form accepts. Switch it off and the sidebar reads Anyone with the link can place unlimited orders. While editing, the helper text shows how many of the allowance are used.
Once the allowance is used up, visitors see Form closed instead of the form.
A form created before Orders per form existed behaves as if it were set to 1 when Unique orders was on, and unlimited when it was off.
How unfinished submissions count
Unfinished submissions count against these per-form caps, but they do not block a returning recipient forever. If someone's own earlier attempt never reached a completed checkout and the draft is still open, Giftform releases that slot so they can try again.
Sharing, duplicating, and deleting
Form link with Copy to clipboard — Share this link to collect gift orders.
Duplicate — copies the whole configuration into a new form, so a repeatable campaign only needs setting up once. The copy gets its own link.
Delete form — asks Delete form? and Are you sure you want to delete this form? This action cannot be undone. The link stops working immediately. Orders already placed through the form stay in Orders and in Shopify.
Settings that apply to every form
Branding and notifications live in Settings, not on the individual form, and apply to all of them: Logo, Brand color, Text color, the optional Primary button, Cart bar, and Accent colours, and Notification email.
See Getting started with Giftform for the walkthrough.
